Our adult programs are designed to reconnect you with the natural world, build practical skills, and foster community. Whether you’re brand new to this kind of learning or have years of experience, we welcome you to join us in slowing down, getting curious, and deepening your relationship with the land—and with yourself.


From hands-on wilderness skills to seasonal field walks and cozy evening gatherings, our programs offer meaningful ways to grow, explore, and connect alongside others.

Monthly PRogram

Adult Wilderness Skills Program

This immersive series invites adults to learn practical skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Together, we explore fire-making, shelter-building, tool use, wildcrafting, and naturalist knowledge, all while deepening our awareness of the land around us.


This program is perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature, challenge themselves, and build confidence outdoors—no matter your starting point.

Saturdays + Sundays from 10am to 4pm

  • Fire-making: fire-by-friction, fire structures, wood qualities
  • Bird identification and bird language
  • Plant and tree identification

  • Plant medicine and medicine-making
  • Ecology and stewarding

  • Basket-weaving, wood burning, and other nature crafts
  • Stealth and camouflage
  • Carving and tool-use
  • Navigation
  • Hide-tanning
  • Nature journaling
  • Pedagogy and mentoring techniques
  • Naturalist and awareness games and activities

Field Walks + Workshops

a chance to explore nature more deeply through hands-on learning and guided discovery. Each session focuses on a naturalist topic or wilderness skill, led by experienced guest instructors who share their knowledge with care and enthusiasm.


These sessions are designed to nurture a holistic understanding of the natural world. Whether you're learning to identify plants, track wildlife, or practice fire-making techniques, each experience reveals the deep connections between all living things. By observing these interwoven relationships, we begin to see the land—and our place within it—with greater awareness and respect.
