Hailey was raised on the shores of Georgian Bay and while she has been an avid traveler for quite some time, her eco-psychological self will always call Ontario home. She combines her knowledge of leadership, interpretation and adventure with her deep admiration and advocacy for inclusiveness, sustainability and the transformative benefits of nature. She has spent more than a decade exploring; refining her soft and hard skills and helping diverse clientele to cultivate a deeper appreciation and connection with nature, themselves and one another. Hailey has a diploma in Outdoor Adventure Naturalism and has extensive experience creating and facilitating eco-therapeutic and wellness based programming. She holds the belief that nature and adventure should be accessible to everyone. Presenting at conferences, such as the Canadian Adventure Therapy Symposium, Hailey continues to support nature-based work and strives to move the industry forward. Hailey has professional experience in theatre, storytelling, deep listening, art therapy, experiential education and reiki. She has taught wild crafting, harvesting and mindfulness practices during both single and multi-day trips. Currently, Hailey is working on becoming a certified Holistic Nutritionist and Hatha yoga teacher. She is living on a farm just outside of Ottawa, working towards moving her tiny house off grid and minimizing her ecological impacts.
